Tensegrity

Nancy, in collaboration with Lauren Breese, choreographed a live performance Math-Dance with the AIREDANSE collective performance group. This piece is titled Tensegrity and is inspired by the illusions of higher dimensional spatial thinking and an exploration in geometry. It was performed at Envision  on Saturday February 24, 2018, at the Santa Barbara Dance Center  and at BASSH 2018 on March 23 and 24, 2018 at The New Vic.

The concept of this dance was born at DanceHack 2017, an event by Counter Pulse and Kine-tech arts. Nancy and the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective worked together to make geometric string figures with dancers.
